How does it work?
Scholarship students’ timetables will be unique to any other students in the academy as they will be placed into specific rugby scholarship lessons throughout the week. Students will be coached by Super League qualified coach and former Hull Kingston Rovers Head of Youth Development Mr Grayburn. Behaviour is monitored and the scholar’s place on the programme is subject to their behaviour and attitude in all areas of the school environment.

Who can apply?
Anyone can apply, the programme is open to all athletes both male and female and is none selective depending on intake and participation.
ASA Australian Rugby League Tour
Following the success of the 2018 summer tour, rugby scholars will get the opportunity to travel to Australia on a trip of a lifetime. The scholars visit Sydney, Manly and Brisbane where they will play competitive fixtures against some of the best young players in the world.
The tour runs every two years and YOU could be on the next plane down under.
Hull KR Academy
We are now working in partnership with Hull Kingston Rovers’ Academy system. 6th Form rugby scholars will now play as Hull KR’s Academy side.
